JKs Happy Hour: Charles Soule

What is JK's Happy Hour?

JK's Happy Hour is a comics podcast where we talk to comics proffessionals and scifi authors live at Dominies Hoek, a bar in Queens.
The show has the 3 following mission statements:
  1. provide listeners with an insight to what its like to work in any industry as an artist, writer, creator, etc.
  2. introduce new readers to comics, art, sci-fi and just general fun, while also informing long time fans
  3. entertain the listeners, enjoy the company and get drunk! comics, sci-fi, and drinking with friends are fun! first and foremost, this podcast should also be FUN!

It posts every Monday morning so come check us out!

this weeks episode...
Enterprise, Fringe, New Orleans, Charles Soule's work new and old, and of course, Captain Marcus Bertram of the U.S.S. Potemkin

This week we experiment with an iPad remote system of video/audio communication which allows me to be in a studio in Maine, while also  at Dom's in Queens.

We talk with Charles Soule about Enterprise, Fringe his critically acclaimed Image comic," 27", his April release of
 "Strange Attractors" from Archaia
available now at comixology and his upcoming Swamp Thing run! We also read from the strangest Star Trek, Craig's List request of all time, talk a bit about Charles' research trip to the New Orleans area, Peter David's recent stroke and the various fund raising for his recovery  including  an art auction that I'm organising.
